The Daytona Beach area gets overwhelmed with motorcycles during the March
Bike Week and races. For some of that time the Main Street of A1A near the Beach
is blocked off for just cycles and bikers ride up and down showing off their
stuff.
The vast majority of bikes were V twins and Harleys were the most numerous
of those. But there were quite a few crotch rockets and occasional vintage
bikes to be seen. The riders are pretty interesting in themselves.
I stopped by Saturday morning March 12 in near perfect weather and found a great gathering of bikers as expected. After 3 hours of photographing I had to head back to New Hampshire and snow.
