AMA Motorcycle Hillclimb at Gunstock

This is an annual event during Laconia Bike Week and attracts a large number of bike riding spectators. Gunstock Mountain Resort is a popular ski area in the Lakes Area of NH not far from Laconia. It has had several events linked to Bike Week including the discontinued Vintage Race and Swap Meet. The Hillclimb continues as AMA Amateur/Youth Hillclimbing. The hillclimbing use to be done on the steep ski jump hill but this year it was done on the terraced ski slope as a timed event. So the main danger was acclerating too hard during the initial start and going over. I rode my Morini 3 1/2 there and took 1100 photos in the on and off misty rain. There are about 1100 photos of this event. At this time the photos in 1280x960 jpg format are available on a CD for $10. CD 07_07
