I visited many motorcycle events during 2006 and took thousands of digital photographs. I have gone through them all picking out all photos of Old Hondas. There were about 1900 photos and they are in 1280x960 jpeg files. I created a CD with all the files on it. I also created a DVD slideshow movie that has background music and transitions between slides with 1400 of the Old Hondas photos on it. The DVD is limited to about 1400 photos so I eliminated the least important photos until I had 1400.

For the purpose of this CD and DVD my rough definition of Old Hondas are Hondas made before 1980 that are singles or vertical twins, fours, and sixes. I have not included Gold Wings and Silver Wings. All the early small bikes are included as well as the CB750s and CBXs. For many bikes I did a full 16 photo set that gives a good view of almost every part of the bike. For other bikes there are just a few views and for some there is just a single photo of a bike and rider going by. If the bike was in a show and had a tag I usually take a close up of the tag so it can be easily identified.

On both the CD and DVD the photos are arranged chronologically as they were taken and grouped by the event they were taken in. Each event has a small description and 3 typical photos of what the event was like followed by the Honda photos taken at the event.

The CD is like a big folder of files. You put the CD in your computer and look at the CD and click the first photo to view it and then your software should allow you to move forward and back and display it as a slide show. You will be able to see lots of detail and do close ups. If you want to check details for restorations you would want the CD.

The DVD has the photos presented as a slideshow movie with background music and transition effects between the photos. If you want to just set back and enjoy 90 minutes of Hondas in all kinds of settings then you want the DVD. Having both would work well too as they are organized the same so it is not hard to go back and forth between them.
