There is an active group of vintage cycle racers in the US. There is a good cross section of people who do this. Some use almost stock vintage bikes that do not require much investment while others race very rare and expensive vintage machines. The Jennings GP track in northern Florida is a track that focuses on the racer. Although spectators are welcome the track is not a good one to watch races from. It is a flat track with no close spectator access to the track. Instead the emphasis is on the racer. Very nice team sites are laid out next to the track. Lots of races are run. And this is just a few days before the Daytona vintage racers so this is a great place to shake out all the problems.
The track is located in a rural setting but it is close enough to town to get supplies. There is prepared food available on the grounds as well as protable toilets but no showers. Many teams set up in the team sites near the track but there are lots of places to camp and set up a site. There is very good access to the teams and racers for those interested in seeing race teams in action or talking with racers.
