For 2005 starting June 6th (Monday) until June 11th (Saturday) Lake George NY becomes a town filled with touring bikes. Dubed the world's largest and best multi-brand touring rally this annual event attracts an impressive number of visitors. You can just drive around town and enjoy the sights or you can register and have access to all the activities. To register you need to stop at the the Holiday Inn as you enter Lake George. Many events are at the Rolling Brook Ranch (RBR) and you do need to register to enter that area. There and a few other places around town cycle makers offer demo rides on their latest bikes. I would say this is probably the best place I have seen to do a demo ride if that is something you want to do. With bit of effort you could demo ride all styles and all brands. Down near the lake there is the Beach Road that is blocked off something like Daytona so cycles can cruise along it. We were there wednesday June 8th and things were pretty active all day long.
