The New Hampshire International Speedway is well know because of the high profile races that take place their during Laconia Bike Week festivities in June. They also host a number of vintage motorcycle races over the summer season. On Monday, September 1, the USCRA Granite State Championships were held. The Registration and tech inspection were the day before. There are nice camping facilities in the infield area and it look like most racers took advantage of that. There are several large buildings that have large open areas where most racers prepare their bikes. There were 12 races scheduled on Monday ranging from 50cc classes to heavyweight supervintage and sidecar.

We arrived around 9am and went in the tunnel to the infield. It was overcast and a threat of rain but it never amounted to much so the races went on without any problem. In events like these there are usually not many spectators except the family and friends of the racers. It did look like there were some cycle riders who came to watch the races. The large buildings where the racers prepared provided a comfortable environment. Visitors have complete access to walk around and visit with the racers and watch them prepare their machines. There were many racers at this event and several hundred race bikes. We had lots of opportunities to get great pictures of vintage racing motorcycles.
