This was the 17th Annual Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction put on by MidAmerican Auctions. It was held in the Exhibit Hall of the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas Nevada. This was January 2008 well before the financial meltdown. This was a high end auction with over 500 bikes. You do not have to bid to attend so is a nice place to see special bikes up close. I took a flight there on Thursday January 10th and flew home on Saturday evening January 12th. Over that period of time I was able to take over 4900 photos. These were terrific bikes to photograph. Unfortunately the low lighting was close to the limit of my camera (Panasonic FZ30). I take photos very quickly to cover as many bikes as possible and so there are blurry ones here and there. That said this is still a very good collection of photographs of a unique event.
