The AMA annual Vintage Motorcycle Days is a fabulous meet on many levels. Every moment there is a vintage adventure of some kind. There seems to be an endless stream of riders going by on vintage motorcycles with big smiles on their faces. This was the 50th year for the Sportster so it was the celebrated marque and there were many fine examples being ridden around and a special display in an infield tent. There was also an excellent display of the Spanish Ossa marque by the Ossa owners club in another infield tent. There were vintage road races and vintage motocross and trials races and a vintage auction to enjoy. I arrived on my BMW K75 on Thursday evening and left early Sunday morning. In between I walked miles and miles and took more than 5000 photos of anything vintage I came across. I covered the infield, the road racer sites, the motocross sites, the Sportster display, the Ossa display, the swap meet area and the many riders out and about.

We have sorted through our photos and carefully picked out as many as we could fit on a CD (3100 photos). We believe these photos will give a real sense of what it was like to be there. If you are down in the dumps with the midwinter blues and like vintage bikes this CD will give you lots of smiles. Or maybe you were at MidOhio and want to refresh you memory and see if you missed anything. Or maybe you are thinking of going next year and want to see what it is like. Whatever your vintage inclinations you will enjoy this photo collection. Because of the shear number of bikes covered in this collection we limit any single bike to 5 or fewer photos and emphasize variety.
