Many motorcylists have heard of the original The Art Of The Motorcycle
exhibit at the Guggenheim Museum in 1998 and have seen the book based on
that exhibit. The exhibit is still active and has visited various cities
over the years. It seems that most of the original bikes are still there and
some newer bikes have been added. When I was in Florida in June 2006 the
exhibit was going on at the Orlando Museum of Art. I paid a visit on Sunday
June 25th. The art museum environment was beautiful and of course the bikes
were in perfect condition. Sometimes low light was a problem as I tried to
avoid using a flash as much as possible.
