There is a fine transportation Museum in Owls Head Maine. This is
near Rockland and a ways into Maine. The Museum is located at an
airfield and has regular airshows. On Sunday August 26th they put
on a vintage motorcycle show along with their airshow. They have a
small but high quaility collection of antique motorcycles and a large
number of riders and exhibitors meant they could put on a show of
more than 200 vintage motorcycles. Exhibitors got free admission
while the general public paid $10 for adults and $6 for children. I
rode my BMW K75 down Saturday evening and arrived at the gate
first thing Sunday morning. I was kept busy photographing arriving
riders and bikes on display. It was nice weather and by early
afternoon I had 2100 photos and headed for home.
At this time the photos in
1280x960 jpg format are avaiable on a CD for $10. CD 07_11
