This is the third year the United States Classic Racing Association
(USCRA) has sponsored this pre 1950 road run. The event is low
key and mostly about having a good time and seeing some pretty
old bikes run on the road. The main organizer for this event has
been Mark Gibson and his brother crafts the unique pewter
trophies for which the event gets its name. The route varies
depending on the age of the machine. This year there was a
1910 Harley single and a 1909 Indian twin that created a little
bit of that old time rivalry atmosphere. I arrived early on my 1978
Morini 3 1/2 Strada. It was a little too new for this event besides I
needed to keep busy photographing. By the time all the bikes
returned from their run I had taken almost 900 photos.
At this time the photos in 1280x960 jpg format are avaiable on a CD
for $10. CD 07_12
