AMCA Six Chapter Antique Motorcycle Meet

The Antique Motorcycle Club of America has created a wonderful new coalition meet of six local chapters in Rhinebeck NY held on June 13-15th 2008. The chapters involved include Hudson, Colonial, Sand Bar, Sea Board, Empire, Yankee. This was the 2nd year for this meet and it was again held at the Duchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck NY. There was nice camping right on the grounds for tents or RVs. The emphasis is on antique motorcycles (before 1973). Indians and Harleys are well represented but makes from all over the world are everywhere. One interesting display was the timeline of motorcycles parked by year covering the years 1897 to 1973. I was able to take a couple of photographs of almost every motorcycle parked in the display. For many motorcycles I was able to take a complete 16 photo set showing details from every view.

I arrived at the show Friday morning (June 13th) on my BMW K75 and left Saturday afternoon after taking over 5800 photos. A CD of 3000 of the best photos in 1280x960 jpg format is available for $10 including shipping anywhere in the world (CD 08_08) or 2 CDs of all photos taken (over 5800) for $20 (CD 08_08_all).
