While traveling to 20 different motorcycle events during 2005 I took many thousands of photographs. Sometimes I took 14 or 16 shots of the same bike for our photographic database. Other times I took just a few shots of a bike or even a single shot of a bike and rider going past. From this collection of photogaphs I picked out over 1000 photos of Sportbikes and created a DVD slideshow movie with transition effects between photos and quality background music. The photos are arranged chronologically by the events they are taken from. Sportbikes are bikes designed primarily for speed rather than touring or cruising. The earliest Sportbikes were British and Italian until the Japanese took over but the Italians and British and even Germans are well represented these days. Even the Harley owned Buell models have been included. Some early precursors to the modern Sportbike have been included but the majority of photos are of modern bikes. Anyone who likes Sportbikes will enjoy this DVD.
